The Dream Bridge

Dream Bridge: A Reflection of my Soul

Nature has always felt like home, a place to recharge, relax, and let go. I often long to be out on a trail, hiking, camping, and exploring the land, and if I cannot visit nature in person, that’s okay because I often find myself visiting nature in my dreams. Here is a dream recollection that beckoned my attention and artistic expression.

Traveling at night, I decided to rest, so I stopped at the side of a path by an open fence. Looking up through the early spring forest canopy I gasped at the way the stars draped the moonlit trees. Beauty, indescribable, but a feeling sets within. How small am I compared to all this immenseness?

Compelled by this beauty I began to walk, through the forest I moved, alone in the dark. I stepped into a clearing at the foot of a stream where the crunch of my steps echoed like screams. Not a soul in sight, I can hear my own breath, frozen in time, for a moment I wept.

Above me a sky full of wonder like no other. So clear, perhaps due to the spring chilled weather.  A tetrahedron-shaped moon hovered above my head. The brightest of stars beckoned my full attention. I watched and noticed a connection to my heart, straight from the cosmos, I am tethered by light. From the core of the earth to the stars above, tethered by light that extends from my heart.

Over the years I have felt this connection, and I’ve deepened into this knowing that we are more than mere victims. Innately understanding that our light is the key to all we experience as a collective consciousness. Each of us contributes to the unfolding experiences, your truth is your power regardless of you knowing.

Perhaps this is my mission, to hold this space, to love from that place where light generates. Yes, that's who I am, and here's something to chew on, my light, or your light, it's all made of gluons.
